--Have been thinking of bending up a little aluminum rod frame and then putting EL on it. What I have in mind is something I can lay over a dog's back so I can take him to a Humane Society doggy costume ball. I thot I'd enter him as an 'art car', heh. Suggestions to augment the effect welcome!

I make things that are similar to this. I use bailing wire and make up the frame. Then to attach the wire using clear spiral wrap. Tying with fishing line works but is time consuming (hopefully you tie good knots too).

perhaps look into getting a bag/harness for him to wear, and then sit the frame on top of that, so that you don't need to worry about the frame digging into his skin.
